Application Engineer

Your main tasks

• Providing on-site support to customers using Evatec production equipment
• Carrying out of Initial (IAT) and Final (FAT) Acceptance Tests
• Trouble shooting, diagnosis and repair of Evatec products- hardware or process related
• Communicating with technical and business management at Evatec headquarters in Switzerland to ensure corrective actions are taken efficiently
• Travelling to other regions for work and training according to Evatec business needs
• Acting as liaison between customers and Evatec management

Your profile

• Preferably with an Associate or a Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 5 years experience in customer service / applications engineering related to sputtering equipment in semiconductor, LED or high tech industry
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese languages
• Ability to adapt quickly to new circumstances with good decision making skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to read and understand the German language would be beneficial but is not essential
