Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer at Evatec, you focus on building internal know-how within the Standardization team and actively shape internal standards and guidelines. You support all product groups in creating specifications, analyzing errors, and addressing complex requirements. You participate as an expert in projects, estimate feasibility and effort, coordinate electrical and PLC disciplines, create risk assessments, and assist in product certification.

What you will be doing

  • check Focus on building internal know-how within the Standardization team
  • check Actively shaping internal standards and guidelines
  • check Supporting all product groups in creating specifications, analyzing errors, and addressing complex requirements
  • check Participating as an expert in projects (customer orders, development projects, retrofitting, and expansion of the installed base)
  • check Estimating feasibility and effort during the project phase and throughout the entire lifecycle of the systems
  • check Understanding and coordinating the interplay and mutual influences between the disciplines of electrical and PLC (IO lists, etc.)
  • check Creating risk assessments according to the Machinery Directive and enforcing other relevant safety standards and Evatec standards with our subcontractors
  • check Participating in product certification (e.g., CE, UL, and Semi standards)
