Team Lead Assembly
Job Description
As a Team Lead Assembly, you oversee the assembly team, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. You coordinate tasks, manage workflows, and troubleshoot issues. You also train and mentor team members, implement process improvements, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
What you will be doing
- Leading part of the assembly team, including work planning, time management, training, evaluation, technical consulting, supervision, work discipline, and safety
- Ensuring quality and timely assembly, commissioning, and delivery of various systems
- Adhering to and improving assembly and throughput times for different product groups
- Continuous development of assembly based on Lean Manufacturing principles (optimization of assembly processes and material flow)
- Maintenance and implementation of assembly-related documents and records
What you should bring
- Completed technical apprenticeship
- Additional training in business administration (Higher Technical School or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial company, leadership experience is an advantage
- Dynamic leadership style, assertiveness, positive attitude towards change
- Experience in vacuum and control technology is an advantage
- MS Office and SAP knowledge
- Fluent in German, basic knowledge of English is an advantage
