I started my apprenticeship at Evatec as a Mechanical Engineer back in 2017. It was a great way for me to begin my career and learn about the different platforms our company manufactures. Since 2021 I have been part of the CLUSTERLINE® 200 Engineering Team. We keep the machines up to date with design modifications and new components. I really like the variety in my job as well as the possibility to work in a great team. In my free time I love to produce music as a DJ. Perhaps we might meet when I’m performing at a local club or festival.

After studying mechanical engineering, I started as a field engineer back in 2013 before working on secondment at Evatec South East Asia for a few years. Living in Singapore was perfect to learn about our local customer base through my work as a local Field Service Manager and a great base from which to enjoy the food, culture and explore the region. I returned to Munich as Field Service Manager Europe in 2020. Every day at work is different. One minute I can be developing a new training package for a customer, and the next I can be organizing an engineer visit for an urgent tool down. To destress after a long day there’s nothing I like more than getting outdoors with my camera and searching for that perfect shot of an amazing landscape or night sky.

I am a Retrofit Manager within our customer service team responsible for upgrades and retrofits of the installed base. Daily tasks range from preparing specifications and quotations to project managing the manufacturing of retrofit kits then supporting our Sales & Service Organizations until the project is completed to our customer's satisfaction. Having completed my studies in systems engineering and worked as an Engineering Manager for 15 years I started at Evatec in 2021. I am a huge football fan and an active football referee but after a long working day I also enjoy poker - it’s a great game of skill and I love the challenge of beating my opponents.

I joined Evatec in January 2021 as a process engineer in the Photonics business unit. Part of my daily routine is the design and test of all sorts of new optical coatings. Working on projects like color coatings for wearables gives me the chance to dive into a whole new world of optics. It’s great to be part of such innovative projects that help our customers take a leap forward in their capability and the products they can then offer to their own customers. To balance work and free time I like to be outdoors, so you can often find me climbing, hiking or riding my motorcycle.
