System Engineer - Standardization
Job Description
As a System Engineer at Evatec, you initiate and support the selection, integration, and qualification of devices and system components. You assist customer projects, manage subsystem specifications, analyze product discontinuations, maintain internal standards, support engineering processes, and coordinate technical documentation.
What you will be doing
- Initiation and support in the selection, introduction, integration, and qualification of devices and system components required for the operation of Evatec systems
- Support for customer projects, product management, service organization, customer service, application, and process engineering in system-related issues
- Specification and qualification of purchased subsystems for coating systems
- Analysis of product discontinuations and introduction and qualification of successors in coordination with all stakeholders
- Maintenance and further development of internal standards and guidelines
- Support in the further development of engineering processes
- Maintenance and coordination of technical system documentation
What you should bring
- Higher technical education (FH) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, microtechnology, photonics, electronics/control engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge in vacuum or semiconductor technology is an advantage
- Customer orientation
- Problem-solving skills and resilience
- High degree of independence and initiative in work execution
